Yeah, I put the H2, H3 and FJC all in the same category. The only difference between the FJC & the H's is that a hot chick driving the FJC might actually be hot (I'll have to wait & see). A hot chick driving an H2/H3 to me is just a waste of time.

That's where it is now, in front of the rear axle between the frame rails, approximately mid-ship, protected by a steel skid plate. The rumors that it's behind the rear axle are incorrect.

I really like them. Just wish that I could afford one. Maybe down the road a couple years.

CR top rated reliable cars, #3 Toyota, #35 Hummer

Even though this is a new production model for Toyota, I'll be willing to bet that they won't have nearly as many issues as the Hummers in the reliability dept.

I'll agree that I don't much like them as of right now, much like I was with the 06 Tacomas.....till I saw one lifted!

Torsion bar front suspension??????????????????????????????

WTF, over?

I thought Toyota already learned this lesson and let GM and Ford do silly things like this from the 2nd Gen's on.

Other than that I like them. I think it will be a heavily mod'd vehicle real soon!

Completely false. There's tons of specs, stats, press releases, reviews, pics and videos around here proving otherwise. Where did that come from?

I wonder if it is the same 6 speed as in the X-Runner pickup with different gear ratios? The 4Runner, X-Runner and FJC share the same 4.0 (1GRFE) engine as I'm sure you all already know...

I'm sure it can be done with some effort. WOn't surprise me to see people doing it some years into the future.
