2006 taco factory alarm going haywire
Hey guys,
My buddy has a factory installed alarm on his 2006 taco but he never paid for an alarm system when bought new. They left it in, he received no key fob and now 11 yrs later its going off and he cant figure out how to disable it.
Lights flashing, horn going off etc.
Any advice on how to disable it?
And no , its not stolen....i've know him and i've been on this forum for a decade....

I did a factory alarm delete on my 94' not sure if this applies. But, I unhooked the battery and removed the alarm brain. Then I cut the alarm harness. There will be pairs of colored wires, these just need to be connected and looped back to themselves. Afterwards I had no issues. The upside of this is I left the door chimer/seatbelt reminder unwired and no longer have to listen to those sounds
