Yukon install kit on an 86 different than 85?

Help, I just received my Yukon gear, and install kit, and am taking the day off of work to get installed tomorrow. I have an 86, but the box for the install kit says 85 and older. Is this a deal killer? Are they close enough to use it anyway? Or is there major differences? Please let me know. Thank you!

Rear is the same, front is WAY different (as in this is the changeover from solid front axle to independent front suspension)
