YEah and added a whole new, more complicated array of problems

Are you talking about removing the whole idle up diaphragm or just disconnecting it?

talking about i dont have an idol up diaphragm and i need to switch out my carbs from a webber piece of junk to a stock 85 carb and it did not come with the idol up diaphragm. and if you read the article you can fix the problem of stalling while going up and down steep hills by using a drainage hose running from the bowl to a container so when the bowl fills up with gas it goes out the hose instead of flooding the engine.

well, i have a holley with all of the hill climbing stuff and it work really good, fuel inject is good to but dont starve the pump, i really think the way to go is propane, but then if you go for, oil pan baffle plates, ps my stock , then replaced with weber really did not work well , the set up i have now works really good
