Is it worth it? 95 4runner ?
I've got a '95 4runner w/ 164K 3vze. I had a major oil leak and my mechanic traced it to the right side head gasket. It was all gunked up and wet inside there. Cam seals were good. He said it'll cost about $1800-$2000 to replace both gaskets, water pump and timing belt. I bought the rig for 5k 2 years ago. My question is: Should I spend the 2k?? Those gaskets have already been replaced once. With new head bolts, will it hold for another 100k miles, or will they just blow again?? Big decision here. Any help much obliged!!!

Thanks for reply dudebud! He showed me the engine and the seals. I believed him after seeing it. The right side was wet from oil. He is a highly recommended toyota mechanic in san francisco and even has a '94 4runner himself. It's just the spending of 2k. My main question is will those gaskets hold for another 100k??? Thanks y'all!!
