Working on transforming my 86 4rnr

ok I've read quite a few threads on here
I'm having some difficulties after rebuilding my engine cause the engine was completely wore out. What I have done to it so far I've deleted egr and idle up control since I have removed my ac. I have iac plugged in since I'm not wanting a check engine light on. I have lce headers bored 30 over deck and timing cover shaved 010, and mild torquer cam all this done I've went through put it all back together.

I did cam break in truck idle was a little off that made it difficult so I changed tps and truck idled better but after break in for the cam was done and truck cooled off it had issues starting up and would not stay idling. I had to keep on the throttle to keep it running to get it home and few days later checked timing on it with timing light ran great idled fine after it cooled off tried to drive it again and it had issues starting, got it to start and it ran like crap stalled out and now it cranks but will not start. I did find a fuel leak at the fuel damper but I don't know why it will not crank if anyone can help it would be great.

Your first post is very hard to read with no punctuation. It's a whole lot of incoherent mess.

As far as checking the codes.

fyi... It didn't work. Maybe the edit didn't save properly?

I cleared some of the punctuation up. Are you getting plenty of fuel. I pull the line off of the back of the fuel rail and with the fuel bypass jumper in, I see if I get about a quart of fuel in a minute or so. Not a test suggested by Toyota but close enough for me to see if I am getting plenty of fuel.

Toyota didn't put it there just to annoy you.

It may be that the truck will run without it, but will it run well, No.

The aux air valve or iac is there to raise the idle when cold. Is it necessary for the truck to run. ..no

If you are in a cold climate, removing it would not be beneficial.

In a warmer climate you could get away with it.

But like with anything else, probably better to ensure is working as designed.

Been a while since I worked on the IAC, but if I recall right, I just pulled it and put it in the freezer for an hour and then see if the valve is operating like it should.

Here is the proper test procedure and adjustment for the aux air valve.

I used a hair dryer and freezer to ensure my bi metal functioned properly. Then after letting it sit to room temp 68 degrees i adjusted it.
