Window not going up

Window not going up
The rear driver's side window does not go up or down, with either the driver's or rear passenger's power control (the little button thingy!). I took apart the rear side panel (inside panel). Is there a way to close the window manually? I assume it is the motor. No noise what so ever when one tries to close/open it. All other windows work fine, so it shouldn't be a fuse.
I need help, as it has rained a lot lately, and the window is stuck half way, of course.
Thanks!

Find the power connector on the motor, its simple switched power/ground.
one way to go up, flip power and ground to go down. Check for power at the motor, if no power then inspect wiring..

Yes, I did. Learned that the hard way a couple of years ago. Anyway, all the other windows work fine. At this point, I think it is the motor, for lack of a better word. All wires are a plug type ending, so I tested (if that is what I can call my efforts) the last wires going to the window motor. Not sure how to read my meter, but in DC mode with the terminals stuck in to the plug, there was a definite difference between having the ignition on or off. I am not sure how to get at this motor thingy. It looks like some bolts, but it may never get put back together again, if I go down this route.
Please keep the ideas coming! As I said, at this point I'd be happy just to get the window up.
Thanks.

Jump the motor with a car battery or 12v. hand tool battery, it doesn't go up your motor is gone, if it goes up motor is good ,wiring/connection is bad, but your window is now up!

Thanks for all the info. I figured there was power to the motor. I called my local Toyota dealer (35 miles away), and decided to bring it to them just to look at. They were very nice to me, and because I had the thing apart, didn't charge me anything! They said it was the motor for sure. The service manager said if it were her, she wouldn't put a new one in. Too expensive. The motor alone was like $350! She told me to maybe consider a junkyard to see if I could find one. I suppose I could find one online. But, the good news is, the mechanic got the window up, out of luck, I guess. Even put it back together for me. No charge. I suppose they saw me looking at the new Tundra TRD four door Rock climber edition. Geez, only $36,000. Darn 4 door Tacoma TRD was $31,000! I suppose if I knew I was going to get 200,000 miles and 15-20 years out of the thing, I might, might, be able to justify it to the wife? On second thought, probably not.
Thanks again for the help!
