like 'freak said, the tires will fit with the bj spacers. however, a good bump may cause the tires to rub since compression travel is limited by the lower control arm / bumpstop. bj spacers push the wheel down / frame up but don't do anything to limit the up-travel of the wheel any more than what stock wheels would experience.

cool...i appreciate it...i'm just getting some pretty nice american racing rims with 33" bfg mud terrains...guy needs to make rent so it's 250 for the set. i was planning on either running them till i need new ones or take em off and throw 31's on. not sure yet i'll see when i get em on. either way, it's mostly daily driver with the occasional off roader but mostly gravel and dirt. so hopefully they'll be alright...oh yeah, since i got you guys how bad will 33's hurt my power and mileage? will i need to re-gear the rear end? how about 31's? thanks.

if your '93 is 4WD you will need to re gear the front end too

31's would not affect your truck nearly as much as 33's will impact your power/mileage...

so, one other tire question...the tires on the rims are 33x12.50x16.5.
do i have to get 16.5" tires? or will 16's work?

if you have a 15" tire you need a 15" wide rim
if you have a 16" tire you need a 16" wide rim
if you have a 16.5" tire you need a 16.5" wide rim

16" tires say right on the side 'Don't mount on a 16.5" Rim'

33's should fit without the spacers but you have to watch the saggy butt as I found on the 4runner. I know yours are going on a pickup...

Check out this thread.

Didn't feel like posting the picture so I just gave the link. They fit fine in the front.
