Who's got duals on a 4cyl?

I saw the funniest but coolest thing today. Someone at my school has an 87 2wd pickup with a tiny little glasspack/cherry bomb muffler, and from that he has two tail pipes running out to the back. Had a "unique" little bop bop bop bop sound to it. If anyone, who has a similar setup and could you post a sound clip of it idling and with RPM fluxuation? I'd appreciate it.

My buddy has a cherry bomb on his 94 single cab 4cyl. Doesnt sound bad just different. He wishes he had more back pressure though so im sure he will change it at some point

Glasspacks on a 305/350... YUCK! thats ALL I hear in kansas is rednecks with glasspacks on their 350's with echo tips on each side of the trailer hitch, OR dual 2" straight pipes out the back spaced about a foot and a half apart.. I dunno whats worse, them or the ricers..

Its called free flow power! Thats why I did it on my chevy. that and setting off the ricers alarms

Only reason you hear it in Kansas is cause there aint (blank) to block the noise IE It's the plains

That one on youtube has a good little miss! I ran my Mitsubishi pickup like that in highschool, then took off the pach and ran it straight to the tips. Loved it.

before my 4Runner I had a 92 pick up. And one day we were bored at work and we had access to to a pipe bender, and some 10 foot sticks of 1.750 exaust pipe. I took the exaust sysyem off from the cat back and custom made a dual exaust system just for the hell of it. I made a pipe off the cat with a single in dual out GM tail pipe tip and from that I bent up piprs to the rear. Took about 2 hours to do and wasnt all that hard. And actually...it sounded pretty kool. Distinctive but not too loud despite the absence of a muffler. It was no throaty V8 burble but pretty kool none the less. Was actually even pulled over once just because the officer was A toyota fan too and thought i did a V8 conversion and wanted to check it out...lol

That video is pretty close, but the yota was a little mellower. Of course I only heard it when it pulled in 1/2 way across the shop. I just couldn't place what the heck it was until I saw it was the only truck in the shop.

That mustang sounded like crap though. The yota was definitely a different sound, but it sounded okay. I need to find out who's truck that is so I can listen to it for a while. Or try and get a sound clip for yall.

Does't the stock header have split outputs already? Dual exhaust from that back would sound so funny.

I would do it if I wasn't RTE.
