Who has bucket seats...?

SCUBA DOES!!

Lol, so i've been itching to swap out my uncomfortable stinkin bench seat, so today i hit up a wrecking yard.
Took me about 45 mins of walking and mesuring and more walking and mor measuring...but i came across this....

Its a 93 celica, obviously you can tell what happened to it.

So inside i found these...

Ill admit they are alittle rough, and a bit dirty, but they slide nice and they are compact and other then the rip on the drivers side seat they are 100% intact.

Tonight im heading out to ocotillo wells with my jeep buddy.
Gonna get up in the morning and have a nice day of adventuring.
then i gotta be back at work at 4, so these are going to have to wait till sunday

Stay tuned folks

sweet man in my 87 the honda civic seats bolt right up to the front bolt and you have to drill out the rear bolts

but in mine i have 1990 mitsu (mustyoubeatme) eclipse GSX seats in my rig i had to weld them down though and drill a hole for it to bolt in the back lol cumpy though

It looks like im going to need slight modding of the front feet to make the more l rather then the / that they are at now, but im not expecting a huge hassle.
Once I get these in ill be builing a custom sub box/center consol/ storage box/ cup holder...yeah i know, alot of slashes.
but thats soon to come...

I need some seat covers though...

Nice! I just found some tan SR5 buckets in a gold 2nd gen Runner at the yard today and snagged them for my new '85 2wd pickup. Bench seats suck balls, and I can't wait to wash the crap out of these "new" seats and bolt them right in.

Mine are cleanish, but dusty and full of other people's farts and whatnot, so I'm planning on either steam cleaning them with my gf's steam cleaner or just taking them to the carwash and spraying the crap out of them. Need to do a bit more searching on that one before I decide.

I actually thought car wash also, but im thinking the foam would get moldy.
I would go the steam clean route if i had one lying around...

Can I come up to Colorado and use your gf's ??

fyi, i meant that in a totally clean way....

I have celica seats, I put them in maybe 2-3 months ago. More comfy than the bench, but in the regular cab they are tight for me (72") if you have a little recline.

My install took most of the day, which means some could do this pretty quickly. I used some steel plates and mounted the celica seat tracks to the plates and then the plates to the stock bold locations. And I found that the celica seat belt did not accept the truck seat belt so I had to use the existing truck connectors.

The thread patterns for the rear bolts is not common in the US (M10x1.50? I do not remember) and I could not find anything to fit, so don't lose them!

nice find... i would just buy some seat covers from a kragens or autozone and cover em up... or if you were really strapped for cash hit up a costco... you can get red or blue hibiscus print seat covers (a pair) for 8 bucks...
