This is where it starts, and it just goes downhill from there

Alright so Dean (SR5) came over yesterday so we could work on the runner he flopped at Reiter last week. To start things off I welded sheets over the sunroof, it had been destroyed.

This is the theme of the night and it was not good

The problems started when it got dark, we moved into my little budget shop (20'x10') and started painting. We got a few beers in us and were breathing all the paint fumes. Dean was on the roof like "Man this has GOT to be perfect, i'm gonna make this perfect, I am SO focused" and i was just sitting there laughing turning a stripped screw for a few minutes. Yeah, that stuff really screwed us up.

A little to happy to be sanding bondo

So then we decided to paint the hood black (bad idea) probly just cause we were high
It didnt turn out too bad

The roof turned out nice

Yes i know the masking job sucks that was the last thing on our minds.

We signed the roof

We had not intent to get high, we were just working away and didnt even notice it was happening until it was too late.

I will admit it was kind of fun but definitely not something i will do again. I'm just glad it didnt happen while we were working on my truck

Lesson learned: Paint fumes can really screw you up. It will impair your judgement and affect your work quality. If your working on your truck and think your getting high, do yourself a favor and call it quits.

You need to invest in a painters mask, Al.
Hopefully that paint wasn't lead based...

Looks good though..for being high..

Hey man, it doesn't look too horrible considering that you rolled it.

If i were you, definitely throw a cage in there.
I would like to get one,

A jungle gym for the kiddies to play on?

Seriously, that exo is overkill ghey. Stop rolling your junk over, and you won't need 500lbs of exo
