Where is a good place to get cheap/used parts?

and whats a reasonable shop labor rate? my local dealer charges 91 bucks an hour. thanks.

http://www.car-part.com/ is a good source for used parts, or http://www.ebay.com/ or your local http://www.craigslist.cog/

Check with some other shops for local labor rates. Usually varies quite a bit with what area you are in.

Cheap Toyota parts? Is there such a thing? And as far as shop rates, I charge $50 per hour, but sometimes I've been known to go as far as $25 just to get new customers in on small jobs.

my toy mechanic charges 65-70 dollars an hour.


75-80 dollars an hour if you watch.


100 dollars an hour if you help

is there a good way to confirm some part numbers before ordering aftermarket stuff?
