Well I started my half doors yesterday. I had a doner pair from my 85 parts truck that were rust free! Spent all day cutting and bending, last night I took them to dad's shop to weld everything up. At about midnight I called it a night and loaded up and headed home. About ten min from home I hear a scraping sound then it was gone!! Well you guessed it, two ratchet straps I guess in not enough to hold two doors down! I run back and try and get it and watch it get run over three different times!!! The good; the brace that I installed to keep rocks from comming in to the cab held up wonderfully! The bad; I now need another pass door Also about four hours of work gone!! Sorry for the long story but just thought Id share So if anyone has a nice pass side door close to Indianapolis that would make this whole thing a little better. Bill

MAN THAT SUCKS! Well now your passenger door will look really good because the third time is the charm and you've had a little practice.

Ya your tellin me!!!! I am putting 1"x2" square tube on the inside edge of the outer skin and it held up wonderfully!! I will post pics later today. Bill
