Call and get them ordered. I know my oreillys can usually get me parts the same day if ordered before 2 pm otherwise its the next day which you will probably have to do

I finally gave up and made my own out of some scrap metal I had laying around. But I'm that guy whom does such things.
Anywho, they turned out real nice if I do say so myself, been working perfect for 5000k miles ±.

If your gonna drive these trucks it pays to have parts like this on the shelf or under the kitchen table or where ever you keep these things.
It never fails I am also always held up by a little piece of hardware
The fact that none of the local Auto parts vendors stock parts for the eighties Toyota`s I know going in I can`t get parts unless I order them or have them.
I must say it is nice to call the dealer and have parts on the way. The worst I hear is I don`t know but we will see if it shows up.:jessica:

In doing wheel bearings, the star lock washers are listed as a non reusable part.
Ready. Fire. Aim. Always gets you in trouble.
My dealer is two days on any part free shipping. Next day I gotta pay.
I've got maybe 25+ at the shop but I do have just a few spare parts lying around.

I was in your same situation. The washer with the little nipple were broken on both sides, and the locking tabs were fubar. I work for napa and spent hours searching my computers and books. Also have some close friends at vato zone and orieleys. They couldnt find nothing. Also called pep girls and car quest, nothing. I couldn't believe it. There's still millions or our trucks and runners out there. dealership had em in stock, two locking tabs, two washers with nipples, and two star gaskets for like 20 bucks. for some reason they nuts they sold me were wrong. different threads or something....
well good luck to ya

I've seen these locking washers out on the floor of NAPA before, so i find it kind of hard to believe you couldnt find them..
If it were me, i would have gone down there and not called. Usually it's harder to explain over the phone

Wheel bearing locks
I don't know about any one else but I imagine by now most of us have managed to find local salvage yards that have toyotas. I know I have and it seems that I'm puchasing one particular vehicle on the "one part at a time installment plan" ha! ha! not that funny but hey........
