Talking What should I make for my 4Runner?

I've got a 92 4Runner and I'm in a welding class in school. In this class I need to do a project of my own. Does anyone have any cool ideas of something I could make up for my Yota? Obviously I am not a journeyman welder, so, any ideas that a beginner welder could fab up? (We don't have the equipment to bend pipe) Thanks in advance for the ideas!!

And obviously I could buy pre-bent pipe, or get it bent, but I'm not looking to spend thousands of dollars on steel and bending

bumper or sliders.

sliders would be easier.
you can buy pre bent tubing from jegs or summit like i did for my stainless exhaust crossover under the truck.

Can't bend pipe?

Who needs a mandrel? Cap one end of the pipe off, fill the pipe with sand (or water even) and cap the other end off, set up some vices and bend the pipe while heating the "bend" a bit with a torch.

Build a small work table. Easy. Help you learn to weld and fit. Then you have something for future projects.

I would go front bumper or sliders. You could make the bumper out of a sheet as long as you have something to cut the metal with.
