What is this part number

Hi guys, I did some searching around and can't seem to find the part I am looking for. I think it's because I do not know what it's called.

It's part of the linkage for an automatic tranny transfer case shifter. A rod connects to the shifter arm under the car, goes to a device that looks much like an idler arm housing (see pick below) and that is a pivot point for the connecting rod to go to the other side (passenger side) of the transfer case to shift it. So, that housing/pivot point is the issue. I need a new one. I can not find the part number... nor do I know the name of it.

Help

Thanks

The terminology on the link you provided helped me to find the part. Thanks!

Part number 33793F is very loose over 33709F, I have to figure out which part needs to be replaced, I didn't realize there are so many involved... I have a feeling its the clip PN 33772F.

Those numbers are what Toyota calls the PNC (Part Number Code) and the 10 digit part number is linked to the PNC. Take a look at the second link I posted above.

If I go in to my parts guys I would need to tell them what the PNC is and where to find it.

Just a got a trainee it has been really rough.

Just when I get the Parts Manager trained to find really old parts He leaves.

LOL.. that's funny

Most diagrams only show the PNC, then I look at the list of PNC's and use the full part number to check it against the VIN make sure i'm getting the right part.

FOr this issue, I have to take the linkage apart to see what I need to replace. It makes all sorts of vibratory noises down there. I zip-tied it tight to something and the noises stopped.
