trying to diagnose some noises.
what kind of noise do you think it would make if there was no pilot bearing whatsoever or a pilot bearing that was no good.
when you get a long block does it usually come with a pilot bearing?

For a pilot bearing to be making noise, it would only happen when the clutch is engaged, as in when you have your foot down on the clutch, putting the vehicle in gear. I've heard them make a high pitched squeeling noise, or a low, rumbling noise.
On that note, when exactly does it make noise? Clutch engaged or disengaged? If at all, which gear are you in? These kinds of things can help us help you lol

it makes the noise at all times but is hardly noticable when the gas is held at a steady amount say around 1200 rpm's. it does it mainly when you take your foot off the gas especially if your cruising at a good speed
