So I'm looking for some advice and a few questions answered that I couldn't find when searching.. so stock the 3.0 feels underpowered to me, I was really lookin into a 3.4 swap,but those engines are running about a Grande when I find em, I'm not sure how easy any other swap would be, I read a bit on the 4.3 vortec swap which sounded cool, but the more I read I'm began to get curious why people say the 3vze is crap, all those little Mr2 owners fight for these engines as they can basically take a turbo stock, and with a little modifying they are puttin out anything up to over 400hp, is it just cuz these are so crammed in there you would never fit a turbo or what?

So I've got a nice little valve tic, and a great oil leak, I'm pretty sure its from my valve cover gasket, ill be doing that this weekend when they get here and ill be doing my valve clearances then too, hopefully that'll fix the tick as Lucas didn't

Also my tranny likes to pop out of 3rd a lot and 1st some time, and once the truck has warmed up it really grinds going into reverse, I don't know how to approach this

Now just basic noob stuff I can't find, what kind of gearing do I have? Or how do I find out, its a 93 ext cab 4x4 v6 Sr5, and I'm pretty sure I have a rear locking diff but I really don't know, I can po the hub off and it looks Like I should be able to twist it, but I really don't know how
And is there a mod for removing the radiator fan and replacing it with electric fans?
