weird blinker action goin on HELP

ok to day i was cruisin down the freeway. I got off the freeway, stop at a sign my blinker was working i go down the road click it on and pop! hmm i pull over and look blow fuse not a big deal pop a new one in and go to check the blinker, pop! so with a few foul words i click my hazards on and pop! so very mad i slap a 20A in the hazzard spot and turn them on again. Now they came on but the blink lights in the dash were really weak almost not there, and only the front ones kinda flashed not the rear. does any one have any idea what the heck this could be i need blinkers.

Your best bet is to start tracing wires, checking them for shorts, damage etc.

These little electrical problems always suck.

Get yourself a circuit tester. You ground one end then poke wires with the other end (the other end is a sharp pin). When the light in the middle lights up, you've found a live wire. Then, use a voltmeter to test *how much* voltage is getting through. Follow the circuit from the bulb to the cab and you will find the problem.

Also, don't throw in a heavier fuse after blowing a factory fuse. That's a good way to start an electrical fire.

Check the connections where the blinker wires attach to the back of the housing. You should have two. Sometimes, the ground ring gets rusted out, and one of the wires detaches. This can cause that problem.
