Water sloshing around in my dash??
Hey it sounds like I have a decent amount of water sloshing around in the dash of my '91 Runner. Every time I go around a corner it all sloshed to one side.
The A/C hasn't worked since about September, but could this be a plugged up A/C drain or something else? How else would water get in there?

What are you stalking me gilby...haha.
Wel the heat works great and there is no coolant smell at all coming from inside the truck, so I don't know about the heater core.
It's sounds like a decent amount of liquid though when I go around corners.

it usually means you are low on coolant. the heater core being the highest point in the system is the first to get starved when the system is low. when it gets low you sometimes can hear the sloshing in the heatercore. mike

Ahhhh, makes sense! I just replaced that bi-pass hose in tha back of the engine, 3VZE, and it lost a decent amount of coolant, which I haven't replaced yet.
Ok, thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it.

I have a 2004 Camry that has the same problem. It has been going on for about a year now and is getting much worse. When it began, It only occured when you come to a sudden stop and you could only hear it if everything was off(radio/fan). Now, It is occuring all the time, every time the vehicle changes direction or when movement starts or stops/slows. This vehicle is under warranty and I have been meaning to take it in, but everyone knows what a pain that can be, especially when you need your car. I will check the coolant level, but the last time I changed the oil, the coolant was topped off. Could it be a plugged drain for the space under the wipers(for a lack of correct terms)?

roll yer truck over and drail it out
maybe the cowl on the outide is clogged with dirt/dried-mud and there's water trapped in there? if that's possible, I dunno... just throwing it out there...
