Don't forget about about all dif, trans, and transfer case oil change
Oh and I just went through the same thing
I ending up having to replace the rear main seal the pilot bearing, the clutch through out bearing, and for good measures I replaced the clutch and pressure plate. Had to get a new starter and had to drain $100 of royal purple from the drive train. It was one expensive little swim, to say the least.
Oh and there is still a frickin grinding sound of some unknown bearing some where that I cant find.
Good luck and it sounds to me that you are taking all the right steps
Oh for some strange reason your steering wheel must of been afraid of the water and jumped to the other side of the truck; you might want to have that looked at.

I've done this twice to mine and when she stalls out the exhaust becomes a vacuum, you should probably pull the exhaust from the cat back and run water (garden hose) through it until it comes out clean. The mud melts the cats honeycomb pretty quickly when it's plugged up.

Silly Yoda's.
Those nissan's that were ahead of you, told you to go around the big dip, but no you went straight in.
Tis your own fault
Fix it already, im planing another trip where we can watch you break more of your cars.

3...i sunk my 22re far worse. It was not fun, but she's still going today. I didn't really have to do much other then change all the fluids (it gets expensive, fast) Had to take the interior out to let her dry. You might want to check out the hubs and bearings in the front if it sat in the water for a while...

SOOO.....
New oil
new oil filter
dead alternator.
:S
so looking for alternator atm.
I started her up this morning and she blew enough smoke to start your own rave..
id say its the extra oil burning off as i but in 5.5L instead of 4.3L i should of.
There is no knock or miss. but the engine is making a god allfull noise which i think is the alternator. the engine light is on and so is the battery light
Also it is going in and out of 4H by itself so id say there is something wrong with the actuator or the control box.
Also.. the oil i pulled out.. was brown.. no so good
