W56 bearing numbers

Hi all,
i have been working on my 88 4runner for nearly a month (nights and weekends only of course) to get it daily driver worthy. I was about to put it on the road and decided that i had better go ahead and pull the transmission.
See,.... I have a gear whine. I know everyone says that these trans are noisy, but i just dont buy that. at least with the level of noise i have. Additionally, i only have the whine in 2,3,5 gears. 4th is quiet as a mouse. so i checked the exploded diagram and what i am seeing in the truck makes sense. There is one bearing that always spins, except in 4th gear, where it is quiet. so i suspect this bearing is going bad. and i dont want it to grenade on me while im driving it. so i figured while i have another vehicle to drive i should fix this issue. then it will be good for another 200,000 miles.

My plan is to pull the trans. inspect bearings, forks, syncros. replace as necessary and throw it back together. (if its just the bearing i suspect i wont have to disassemble the lay shaft and main shaft from the mid plate completely and i can just replace the bearing without tearing it ALL the way apart, leaving syncros and springs in tact. this way i wont mess with the stack height or anything.)

My question is, does anyone know the bearing codes for the main bearings in a w-56b? that way i can cross reference them with a bearing distributor and get some high quality replacements.
keep in mind i am not looking for the OEM part numbers, I want the actual bearing number.

Thanks
Bryan

Sorry, don't know the numbers but if you measure them they should be able to match them up for your application.

I can give you the bearing numbers if you want but buying them individually from a bearing suplier is a bad idea. Bearing supliers can give you the right size most the time but i've found some snap ring groves to be wrong when getting bearings by the numbers. Just get a bearing set it will have all the right japanese bearings and seals and gaskets. I sell the one for yours for 175 shipped

yeah, i have found those japanese sets for 175 bucks. i am affraid they are crappy "no name" jap bearings though.

I am definitely interested in the bearing numbers if you have them. I would like to see what i can find.

If you are willing, let me know what manufacturer makes the ones you sell and if they arent crappy i might just go with that.
i saw the link to your website, but can you be more specific as to what comes in your kits?

All the bearings are nachi,NSK,or Koyo which are the same as the ones you will be pulling out. All bearing kits come with input and output seals, plate and bearing retainer gaskets, all the bearings except the needle bearings under a couple gears that rarely need to be replaced. But if you want i'll try to get you those numbers
