only if the new cam specifies different specs,(should have some paper work). if not stay with the factory settings..

i had a comp cam for my old yota and it came with a sheet that specified, they wanted me to adjust the lash to, 010/.010

well i check the valves and they all seem fine, no excessive play but the top end chatters like a diesel...that normal for a mild cam? im gonna change the oil, needs to be changed, hopefully that quiets the chatter, any recommendations for oil? im gonna search around a bit and see what i find...thanks alot
