Vacuum line from Canister

Hello All,

Got my new 3.0 in and it runs... but having a hard time with the idle (2300 rpm).

Tracing back some vacuum lines to see if this is the problem and I cannot see where the vacuum line from the charcoal attaches to the engine.

Anyone send some pics or tell me?

Cheers!

Kevin

The TVV is located on the H2O block bolted to the back of the lower intake manifold.

The reason you can't find it is that the plastic port broke off the TVV (it's probably still inside the end of the vacuum line).

There are numerous write-ups on this site (e.g., https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ix-pics-84460/) for how to repair the TVV, but I found that the plastic becomes crumbly with age, and I opted to replace it. About $66 from the dealership.

The TVV is for recycling fuel vapour so it has nothing to do with the engine coolant. Did you disconnect another sensor back there? There are 4 in total in the V6.
