Vacuum Leak?

I have a problem a with surging, but this one goes away after warming up. When i first start the truck, it runs for about 2-5 mins before it starts surging. Less if i am driving it. (Doesn't surge till it reaches a certain temperature.) Then while it is surge prone, if i brake, the truck surges at a lower rpm and faster. Although, when the truck is at operating temp, there is no surging at all, brake or no. I am not sure if it is a vacuum leak or a temp sensor or a tps valve or what. If someone else has had this problem or know what it is, please help, because i am embarrassed to warm up my truck and have it revving in the background.
