v6 sr5 burning rich

i have a 91 v6 sr5 pickup that has been sitting for a while (about a year). my problem is that it only wants to start if I pump the throttle when as I'm trying to start it. once it starts it wants to die unless I keep it running. it also will not go above 3500 rpm (no matter what). sounds like its missing and sends a white smoke out the exhaust that smells rich. also the idle screw and distributor timing adjustments seem to have no effect of performance. here is what has already been done. replaced fuel pump, injectors, spark plugs and all vacuum lines. I have checked ohms on VAF meter, TPS, CO relay, cold start, coil and ingnitor, performed the fuel pump jump test. there are also not codes being sent when it's running. going to try the cap, rotor, and button next because I cleaned the old one (which seemed somewhat new, but had white corrosion on inside). doesn't anyone have any other ideas

white smoke is burning coolant. Oil is blue smoke and fuel is black smoke. Are you sure its white smoke?

Checked for rat nests in the intake and exhaust? Bad gasoline?

X2. White smoke (coolant) will smell sweet.

well it was a white smoke, but no sweet smell like coolant. it had a burn your eyes type of fuel smell. I just put the new cap and rotor on it today, but still no change. after the new cap and rotor the white smoke went away. I don't think it's bad gas seeing how I cleaned the tank and put new gas in it about a week ago, but the there was a little bit of old gas that wouldn't come out of the tank. I know the intake is clean because I cleaned it out when I cleaned the fuel injectors. I have also noticed the the idle screw and the distributor timing adjustment seem to have no effect on the situation either.

well i checked the gas and its doesn't have any water in it. I have also checked the egr system and everything is in working order, was dirty but all clean now. after the egr I looked at the VSVs that control the fuel and the egr, as I thought there were all fine as well. I took off the intake to inspect some things and I found that the gasket was bad and had a section missing. i'm going to try this next along with checking the temp. sending unit.... will keep everyone posted on the issue. any responses will be greatly appreciated
