UHHHH OOOO!!! air box filled with oil!!
man i have run into more issues with the 3.0 that when i pull the motor im going to dissassemble it with a sledge hammer...
so what causes this thing to back feed into the airbox?
im comtemplating rebuilding this motor but im kind of hesitant too...

99% sure, clogged PCV valve.
It is on the P-side valve cover, under the intake plenum. It blocks up, the crankcase builds pressure, and pushes oil/vapor out the D-side tube, up into the intake flex line that attaches to the throttle body.
Cheap to fix, messy to clean up the air box, and a total pain to get to it.
I would say that the only good way to do it is to pull the plenum, that big aluminum thing on top of your motor that the throttle body is bolted to. You will need to replace the grommet in the valve cover to do it right, and the only way to do that is take the plenum off.
Good luck
