"U" shaped bypass coolant hose on back of 3VZE Rear leak
Hello everyone, yesterday I blew that U shaped hose on the back of my 3VZE.
I did some searching in the forum to find the correct name for the hose so I could look it up on the local auto parts stores website.
Found a forum post by someone who gave a part number but when I ordered it not only was it too short in length but also the I.D. was too big.
I went in the back room at the parts store and found a better match.
It's a Gates 18206. It's somewhat longer but can be cut to fit perfectly and works well with the original clamps too.
Heres a pre-cutting picture next to my original one.
Also, I was able to change mine without removing the plenum as I see alot of talk here about. It wasn't too bad using a pair of the "Stork" needle nose pliers. I'd rather do the hose replacement on the 3VZE then a starter removal!
Took all of about 10 minutes one the engine cooled down.
Just thought I'd post to maybe help someone else out.

Just out of curiosity, what did you think the part number was?
It looks like it's 16267-65011. HOSE, WATER BY-PASS, NO.3. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/...626765011.html
