U-Joint?

Sometimes I notice after I go around a corner (I usually am In 3rd, and put the tranny in 2nd and let the clutch out during mid turn when speed & rpms match.) I let out of the clutch and give it some gas, and it feels like theres some slack in my driveline and I think It MAY be a U-Joint, Considering they haven't been changed since 1986, I've been real freakin' hard on them, learning to drive stick in the truck, and doing countless burnouts, powerslides, and all that crap a typical kid does with his truck.. Anyone think my assumption is correct?

Hmmm......maybe. Strap a friend to the underside of the carriage and have a drivearound. See if he/she can tell where it's coming from.

How often do you service your joints? It should be every oil change OR more depending on conditions........

When you checked for excessive play what did you find?
