Two Lower Oil Pump Bolts Leak

Two Lower Oil Pump Bolts Leak
Good Day everyone. I have searched and have found no "solution" for my inquiry. I just rebuilt a 22RE and have done many, many of these. I have never had a problem before but now I see that the two lower bolts on the oil pump are seeping oil (wet and saturated, not dripping) after 15 minutes of running engine and after 10 miles of driving. The oil pump housing is dry as a bone (so no crank seal leak) and the one bolt at the top under the timing marks that is supposed to recieve sealant (FIPG) is dry as a bone too. The only moisture/oil is on the two lower bolts next to the oil pan on the oil pump. It is a new oil pump, timing cover and seals. Has anyone come across this? Yes, the bolts were installed in the same order. But even if they weren't the lower bolt hole does not go through the timing cover so it wouldn't be able to leak any oil. The only way to get oil to those bolts is to have the oil from the sun gears to get pass the o-ring and leak along side the aluminum pump and timing cover, gravity fed, toward the bolts right?? The only thing I can think of is I crimpred the oil ring seal for the pump to T-cover........so unlikely though, I'm so careful with that....just don't know how those two lower bolts would be wet?? Thanks for everyone's ideas/experience in advance.

As the oil pump housing is cast then machined A flaw in the casting??
I say try the FIPG on the 2 bolts if that doesn`t cure the problem get another oil pump.
If by some chance you did screw up the o ring at worst you just have a extra oil pump and if you are always building these engines I am sure it won`t go to waste.
Good Luck let us know how it turns out

Thanks Wyoming9. Turns out that it was the washer on the oil pump (factory defect). It was a ROCK oil pump and I guess they knew about the problem but said nothing about it until people return it. I am usually a stickler for Toyota parts but this guy that I was working for didn't want to spend the money......which I understand but don't support. So, as I have had good luck with ROCK parts in the past......I wouldn't recommend using the ROCK oil pump in the near future. Happy wrenching fellas. Thanks for the help.
