Truck only starts with clutch start button

hey everyone i installed a new clutch over a year ago and as far as i can remember it started after that. i havent driven it since then but it wont start unless i press my clutch start button or whatever it is, does ne body know what happened and how to fix it? thx

there should be a switch in front of the clutch pedal bracket at the top that is pushed closed when the pedal isnt being pushed, thats the sensor for the clutch (to let the truck know that its not in gear) that might have gone bad, prolly a 5-10 dollar part easily replaced

x2, either the switch is bad, or the rubber bumper that pushes the switch has gone missing.
