Truck keeps dying out !

Hey guys the other day I was out in my toyota ( 88 22re) and it stalled out on my , tried starting it and it just kept cranking with no start. So I got it towed back to my place. Put the battery charger on it and it would fire up for about 2-3 seconds then die right now. Tried giving it gas but never helped it. I check and I'm getting really good spark, Compression and timing is spot on. Parts i tried so far are injector resistor , ecu , ignitor, vafm , checked my intake tube and it was good. Pulled the fuel rail and injectors are clean as is the rail. It's getting good fuel pressure also. My fuel pump is wired up from my battery to the fuel pump. All ground wires are good . Just seems to me as it not getting power to the injectors since the cold start injector seems to be the only one working. I searched and searched and can't figure out the problem. Anyone have an idea ? I need to get this going by thursday night for a mud run !

Are you testing these or just throwing parts at it?

You can probe the injector wires, constant power on the one side and ground from the computer when they are "firing". Stethoscope or light probe, pretty sure both are covered in the manual.

Why is your fuel pump directly wired to the battery?

Thanks for the quick reply . I found out my problem , It was a broke wire for my fuel pumped , All good now . I have it wired direct with a toggle because it wasn't getting power , might just be the COR but its just a woods buggy so I never fixed it proper but probably will soon.

COR is only used during the startup, the switch in the VAFM runs the pump the rest of the time.

Remember safety first, you're a fire hazard wired like that
