Been planning a new engine and parts transplant for about a year now and been gathering parts. Finally picked up the engine friday.

In the parts picture we have.

Oil
Antifreeze
New radiator w/cap
fuel filter
Used NWOR header
Gasket set
Fuel filter bracket
Plugs (oem)
Oil pump
MARLIN CRAWLER clutch
Oil filter
RTV.

From the looks of it i still need exhaust studs. Cap, wires and rotor.

Thanks for looking. (No my engine is not blow just really tired)

Exhaust studs and nuts are cheap at dealership. No need to fret.

Yea the date is not set. It goes back to that date everytime the battery goes dead. So i gave up. Nothing really new yet. Truck is just draining as we speak.

That NWOR Tri-Y will be sweet! It should really help with low to mid range torque!

I hope so i really didnt want to break the engine in on it. I wanted to see how the engine performed before and after. But the exhaust manifold has a few leaks and i dont want the valves to get air that early.

Got the motor from a machine shop in springfield oregon called caldwells. The place gets lots of good reviews and the engine has a nice warranty.

Yea i really wanted to put some time into cleaning the bay but its sorta a time thing. Plus i miss driving the truck.

Just get some engine de-greaser and a scrub brush and at least clean SOME of that off... It'll make you feel better (well, it would for me) to put that motor in at least a semi-clean engine bay!

BTW: that NWOR header should provide 25% more low end torque according to their catalog! I really do wish I had a 22re sometimes
