ok so im trying to find out what tranny i have in my truck, i found some number stamped in the the case 40600535, is there any way to tell what i have? i have looked at pictures of all the types of Toyota trannys but i cant narrow it down to what i have.

Couple threads on here with a vin decoding link search a little its on here, thought I had it in my bookmarks but I don't.

It will tell you everything your truck came with depending on if things haven't been changed.

On the Vin plate there should be a "W--" or "G--" or "R---" depending on what year and vehicle you have.

its not stock so the truck vin wont help
