Tranny fill plug / oil change.

Which is the fill/check plug? I read that it is right above the drain plug but mine looks nothing like it does in the pics and I never read anything about a torx bolt. The second one when removed released lots of oil so please point me in the right direction. 1986 22r 4wd

torx heads are for the detent ball and springs
the fill would be number 2, i cant understand what angle this is at tho

Underneath looking up. I had to do a funky angle because my cannon cam has the pop up flash and kept getting blocked by the exhaust. Thanks for the input.

ok yeah that the fill on my r150f the fill is in front of the intermediate plate i think that was throwing me off, but yours is a w56

From what I understand the 22r's came with a G52/G54. Not sure which I have though.

oh sorry yeah it depends on what year toyota kept moving up in strength with the 22r/e trannys you have a g54, a 22re would have a w56

Thanks Guys. Filled it with the redline gl4, gl5 in the diffs, and I will be done with the tcase in the morn. Almost hunting season!
