Traded a minivan for a 93 4runner!!
So my girlfriend blew her engine on her 93 4Runner and needed a car to get around town. Well, my mom just got a new car and the minivan was taking up space in the garage. So i asked my mom if she was willing to trade the two vehicles and she was! The best part is that when my gf gets done with school next spring she said she would give us the van back (sell for $0). So it's practically a free 4runner! The only bad thing is the motor is blown the rest of the car is in good condition minus the faded red. 4.88's 4x4 31's with some tread left and a rebuild transmission with only 20,000!
The van: 2001 Mazda MPV 117,000
The runner: 1993 4Runner 180,000
Let me know what you think!
edit: Sorry for the blurry cell phone pics

thanks! and watch it, minivans aren't junk i drove one for a year and a half...i could carry 7 people comfortably and remove the seats for tons of cargo room and it was sure faster than my 3.0 ha
I'm not sure yet. For now I'm gonna use it for the little things I need to fix, like the front bumper and tun signal, the rear wiper and the roof rack. But I think my ultimate goal is to make it run again (3.4 swap maybe?) and then turn it into a trail rig. I would make it a DD after I fix it but I'm already getting an '06 4Runner next spring so I figure trails are in it's near future.

Haha sweet! I bet the girl gets some extra lovin fer dat Maaan. stock 4.88s? Swap a 5spd and you'll be set for 33"s!!!!!!
My mom has a '93 Mercury Villager with over 220K miles. Original engine, rebuilt tranny at 170K after a road trip from Florida to Alaska with WAY too much stuff in it. 3.0L v6 She doesn't drive it very often anymore though...the exhaust is almost beyond repair and a new system is over $600
