TPS question

I have a 94 pickup with 22re. Here is the problem I'm haveing, when I'm driving the truck it's losing power, so one day I unplugged the TPS and the truck runs alot better. Before I go buy a new one I was just wondering what others thought.

You need to properly adjust it. Google/search for proper procedures.
