It's just a stock arm with a plate bolted on the end to space the spindle out!
The coilover conversion looks interesting though ...

know it, jumped it in my buddys truck. Its well known (maybe even cleche'), but we we cleared 60+ ft & 8ft (80mph) high with no worries.
Fun stuff, anytime you can hitch a ride with a Pre-runner, do it!

how much travel and lift do you get out of this cheapo kit??
the UCA's should be just as strong as stock by how that little extension or whatever is bolted on..
details please?

Downey had a long travel kit that they advertised as the best compromise. They touted using the T100 CV axles, rather than custom length as Total Chaos uses. This kit seems to go at least some of the route that Downey went.
I wonder where Downey's kit will end up, if someone will get the rights to sell it.
Interesting, buy it, when you don't like it, I will buy it from you for 1/2 of what you payed for it. Just kidding.

In OC, Socal... hmm.. might have to make a fly by.... I'm only over the hills (literally) from OC. And that coil-over setup looks like it'll take a bite out of the turn radius... and did you notice they have the coil over working with the torsion bar? That by itself makes things a bit interesting.
What worries me is how the upper BJ extension connects to the upper arm. All the load is being placed on the stock BJ mounts, but not as a strictly linear load but with some torsional aspect- it will twist the upper a-arm at the BJ mount. The lower, I'm not as worried about but likewise fore/aft forces will be amplified since the LBJ is farther from the stock mount and I see no bracing to accomodate that either.
TBH, I can see that configuration more appropriate for a 2wd truck that doesn't have the front wheels pulling on the frame as well as being pushed by obstacles.
Anyone have an address on them? Might go check it out tomorrow.
