Looks good. How's it ride?

yeah, I was gonna tell you that you need some fenders up there now to keep it street legal.
And allegedly, you can swap in a T100 rear axle to keep the front/rear track about the same.

/me officialy adds TC to the 4Runner's list... after getting back to work and taking this damned thing out to play instead of work. HAVE to have something to compare to.

Is that a 2" shock or 2.5"? I plan on the same front setup someday. What were you planning for the rear?

I was thinking that a deaver leaf pack in the rear would be sweet. but also a triangulated 4 link would be really nice too.

Looks awesome by the way

When i do mine, that is what i was thinking of doing, was the deaver leaf pack for the sake of simplicity. And then use long travel shocks through the floor.

lots of jeep guys do that. Works good on the xj because you just run shock tabs on the u-bolt plate. I have a 97 xj that will be our preunner I cannot decide wether tu run the shocks in a semi stock location or through the floor. My major thing is I likes the ladies and the ladies likes the back seat that folds down ha ha.

linky for ideas...

I hear ya. My idea was to run them just inboard of the fender wells at a slight angle forward to keep them from sticking up too much. I would make a crossbar for the shock tabs and then sheet metal over it to make the floor sealed in the cargo compartment still.

I like that idea of in fender well. It is kinda like what alot of the 66-77 bronco guys do too. I am thinking of making a crossbar that goes between my uni-frame rails on my xj and maybe just have them come throught the floor a little(just lit 2-3") and then just make a sheet metal cover for it. I am probably never going to race in jeepspeed but I want a good prerunner for our race trucks.

The A style inboard mount is what I was thinking of doing on my xj. We have not raced or even been to a desert race, but BORE has a couple races around(Jackpot, Ely, Wendover). We are planning on racing the Wendover race on may 1,2 if we can throw some shat together quick.
