I have3vze it just hit 230 thou but I just noticed when it idles I get a ticking noise and makes the noise at every rpm but not when accerlating hard I'm getting about 12 to14 mpg combined and it feel like I Lost a little power could this be a value not seating? I have no idea where to start

When was the last time the valve clearance was checked? It might just be an injector or injectors. Use a mech. stethoscope or a long screwdriver to isolate the sound. (Of course, stay clear of moving / spinning parts, and only place the handle end of the screwdriver on your ear.)

If you still think it's a valve, check compression and / or leakdown. That will tell you almost everything you need to know.

The PAIR valve on my truck makes a ton of racket, it sounds an awful lot like valve clatter and it shuts up under accel. Pop the vacuum line off and see if the noise stops. Apparently it's not something you want to run disconnected though, and I'm not sure if it would have an impact on power or economy.

It's valve, not value.

I wouldn't do a compression check unless you really need to. I only recommended that if you check other things out first, and then still suspect a valve.

And you're going to have to search things like valve adjustment and PAIR valve. Get yourself a manual. You can download one for free. The best information out there.

Passenger side exhaust manifold, the aluminum bracket thing that is hooked into the manifold, has a vacuum can on top of it, towards the firewall.

In the picture below, circled in red.

Not the pair value listened to today and could only hear it coming out th front right side of the motor(looking at the motor)

If you have never had the valve clearance checked I would recommend taking it to a shop that specializes in Toyota's. To adjust the clearance you need to install a thicker or thinner shim. A good shop will have a shim box. If you try to adjust the valves your self you will be running back anf forth from the Toyota dealer picking up different size shims. It's not cheap having a shop do it for you but it is worth it! When I owned a repair shop years ago we had a shim box with 20+ different size shims so we had no troubles getting the job done.

Could be the Fuel Pressure Regulator. They make a ticking noise and from what I hear its nothing to worry about. Sits on top of the engine, towards the front. Google/Search a parts website for a picture (sorry dont have one handy). You should be able to put your hand on it while the car is idling and feel the "ticks"
