Throttle linkage binding

1989 toyota pickup with 22R carbureted.

The linkage with the L shaped arm binds up when i tighten up the mounting bolts.

My question is do dealers still stock these or parts for them?

Also, can someone post pics of theirs. I want to know if im missing any parts that could be causing this.

I tried wd40, bending the tabs. Nothing works.

The thing would just bind up and stick at a high idle when i blip or move the throttle.

Another question.

Does the L shaped arm suppose to have a lot of free play?

You can get cables online or from a cable shop if the dealer says they can't get you one. Once the lining or nylon ends wear out lube isn't going to work for long if at all.

There are lots of pictures "site:yotatech.com 22r throttle linkage"

P.S. no no play in the bracket, make sure you have both bolts in and they're tight.
