For those with LC coils...rubber isolator??

I have been trying to track down why my 4runner sits almost an inch higher on the right rear side. I took out both LC coils and measured them, they are exactly the same size. If anything, I would expect the right side to sit lower because of the gas tank, but its almost an inch higher. My next thought, the rubber isolator that sits on top of the springs...since the LC coil is slightly larger than the stock coils, maybe its not sitting on the rubber seat correctly up top. Has anyone used the LC coils without the rubber seat and if so, were there any ill effects?

Yea, I wouldnt think it would cause *too* much difference. I guess I can pull them out and check. Just wanted to see if anyone else had done it before I go rent the spring compressor and all that again.
