I have a 1990 pickup Base Regular Cab Pickup (2.4L 4-cyl. 4-speed Manual). It does not come with A/C. Is there something I can do to install an A/C unit? Or bring it to a shop have them do it? Thank you!

If you get it you have to make a thread. Most people take the parts from a junkyard Toyota and try to make it work. A little googling and searching and you will find threads.

That (no yards), I find hard to believe.
The yards may not be "open" (pick and pull yards are rare - due to insurance reasons) but the dead cars have got to go SOMEPLACE.

Here in Philly - there are yards in several sections of town.
Typically, each yard "specializes" in certain makes; going to one and asking, they will tell you what yard to go to/

There are salvage yards in different parts of the country that will mail parts. I have gone that route a few times.
