3.0 V6???

There are marks on the pulleys (cams and crankshaft). They all point to 12 o'clock. There is a mark on the block at the crank as well, IIRC.

Put the pulleys back on for reference.

there's an indicator just above the pulley labeled with a '0' (top dead center, toward the right) and a 5, unmarked notch, and a 10 and so on. I believe there's also a 5 on the right side of the 0 as well. Long story short, the "0" is TDC.

From memory... I think the crank pulley has a dot or a notch in it, and the block has a mark on it. The crank pulley keys into the crankshaft.

Those marks need to line up, at 12 o'clock.

there is a notch on the pully.find the notch and put some white out in it makes it easy when u got a timing gun on it.there should be a little plate that sticks out right above the crank pully that will have the numbers on it in this order 5,0,5,10.line up the notch on the pully with the 0.good luck
