I'm in the middle of replacing my timing chain. I match marked all the timing pieces. When I took off everything, you will see in the pictures (notice the silver match mark) that the crankshaft keys where not at the 12 o'clock position. When I move them to the 12 o'clock position, the number 1 is at TDC. I plan on reassembly with the keys at the 12. Any reason why I shouldn't?

A little background: I replaced the chain on a whim. The driver side chain guide was broken but the tensioner seemed fine. There was enough play in the chain that I could move the crankshaft without the cam shaft moving, about 5 degrees. Thanks.
