Stupid Quick Question: Rear Fender Liners?
I'm putting my 1st gen back together. Some parts were taken off and stored five years ago. I found the front fender liners at the top of 12 foot shelves in the garage. Is there such a thing as rear fender liners? I can't remember. If there are can anyone explain why I would not have stored them together? I've googled, searched this site and looked in the FSM. I don't see anything about them. I need to know before I tear the whole garage apart.

The Gen1 4Runner did not a "fender liner" like the front.
The front had a 3D plastic liner (think plastic milk bottle) that was held in by bolts
The REAR had a thin rubber sheet that "sealed" the gap between the bottom of the body and the top of the frame.
Back in the day, there were aftermarket "thicker" rubber liners to replace the OEM ones

Here you can see the curled up pulled out of the way "fender liner" on the right
The center of the photo shows the black rubber "push" fitting that the rubber hangs on.
The rust hole is semi hidden by the rubber sheet
And the hold for the tank hanger and the muffler hanger, (the round hole in the frame) is covered by the rubber sheet

Thanks everyone. Those rear liners are like sheet rubber aren't they? I definitely removed them from mine. I just need to find them. My fronts are in amazing condition. I had put them on a top shelf, 12' off the ground. I even found that they still sell them for about $20 each. All the parts we REALLY need and they still make those. They are arguably not really necessary.

Yes, just stiff sheet rubber. I would try Shower Pan Liner PVC. Home Depot sells it by the yard.
Yes, So cool that we can still get parts we need for reasonable prices.
