Red face Stuck

Ha
So after popping in my starter last night i remebered it rained just a few days ago
so i head out to this place around my house to find it was completely washed out
i went through the creek once didnt get stuck, but got some water in the cab,
I think its about time for a bodylift
i was so worried about the ecu
so i guess its time to move that thing to the glove box
but anyway

check out my sig have a look at my tire choice, and youll know why i got stuck

but on the real
im ordering an aussie next friday when i get paid

I know im gonna get laughed at
but we all need alittle comic relief every now and again

true but
im not really good at saving
a set of tires will run around 8stacks
an aussie will be about 250
i figure i just get it and then do my best to save
shouldnt have a big problem
but i do agree with you

youll go tons of places even just with that locker. The tires will help but the locker may help more in some cases.

one of my friends dad told me once "your not stuck until the tranny drops or the engine blows, then your stuck". good pics.

at least you got out- i got stuck in a muddy ditch on the side of an old road around here at 3am totally by accident (it was dark, and i thought the rear tires were still on the road when i was turning around, and yes, i have 2wd lol) i had to call my friend and his pathfinder to pull me out so i could get to work the next day

i had to air them down and i finally got out

dont feel bad about your tires. down here in Belize, the locals never have 2 of the same tires, even some 4x4's have 4 different sizes, i have seen a 4runner with large rear tires and small front tires. and as for getting stuck, i bet you figrued you'd get stuck before even going in.

Around here there's a saying "having good tires is more important than a winch" I'd feel that way about a locker too. Tires first, locker second, but...you can afford what you can afford & if that's a locker - go for it; it'll help.

its still the pretty little stocker runnin around town
i see some other guys in 3rd gens sometimes 2nd, most of the time we just stare at each other
idk what would be a good choice for mainly on road partly off road tires
ii was looking at some dick cepecks. their pretty
but anyway
the whole engine blown thing is a good quote
i was soo wishing i had a winch yesterday
but no harm

as for the tires i have ran

wild country m/t- wore quickly and chunked

Mickey Thompson ATZ - very quiet smooth ride ok off road, cupped

BFG M/T - Didnt have them long by far best off road

Maxxis Bighorn- soon to be on my 4runner hopeing i can get a best of both worlds tire but we will see

I've had plenty of different tires and I would have to say my favorites were Mud Kings, I know there an off brand and they are very cheap, but man for mud tires they lasted a long time (35-40000 miles if i remember right) and would go through some deep mud. I had them on a '95 chevy ext cab and they were still great in the goo. I even entered in a mud run and won 3 races in a row against a lot better suited trucks for the race. oh and that 35000-40000 was with 6 miles of gravel everyday.
