stripped t-cover bolt?

stripped t-cover bolt?

the bolt at the top of the t-cover the ties the head into the t-cover is stripped....you guys think i can buy a thread repair kit and fix it? sorry for so many questions

Man you're having a hell of a time lol
Yeah just get a new grade 8 bolt. Are the threads in the t cover ok?

seem to be i threaded the bolt into the T-cover without the head and it held fine, i just remember last time i installed the T-cover the bolt didint really tighten...lol and yeah this is all cuz i wanted my timing to be perfect lmao

Use a 1/4 drive sockets on the motor!!

get a tap and tap the hole out to a little bit bigger bolt.

Depends how you do things.

I would do both holes with the thread repair of your choice if you don`t know this is a common problem. once it is done you should be good to go.

size is M8x1.25 they are a common size it is good to have them on hand.
