cant stop turning?!!! not just a noise now

ok so I went wheeling today. made it up some pretty gnarly rocks covered in moss and crap I totally thought I was gonna flip on this one ledge,

but I came down kinda hard on the front coming back down, and since it seems that when i turn to the right, my tire whines pretty loud on the driver side front. didnt do that before today. and they are mud tires so I am used to them humming, but this is much louder. I think I knocked it outta alignmet cause the tires look like this if I stare at the front / \

do you think that sounds like what It is? its not rubbing on the inner fender or anything , cant see what else it could be its definatly a tire whine as it changes when the pavement texture changes

If your tires are pointing together than I would start there. Do the alignment then go from there.

I read something about putting a line of paint on the tire or road to check to see if you needed aligning. Anyone have any more info? I suppose if you are no longer tracking straight on the road, that would also be a good indicator.

^ Chalk test. Draw a line of chalk across the tire, straight. Then drive in a straight line for about 20ft or so, then look at the chalk.

If it's worn in the middle, your tires are over-inflated. Worn on the outsides, under-inflated.

ok its worse than i figured heres some new data.... the tires are actually pointing like this \ / and toed in at the front... the noise isnt so noisy now, but when I am turning, if i let go the steeering wheel just stays turned. in fact its easier to turn it than it is to straighten it out again. could this be from alignment or did I bend something ???????

you know the little slightly z shaped arm, i think its the idler arm? on the driver side its got a drop.... the mild z shape, and on the passenger its pretty well straight. is that normal?

ok sorry did some searching the straight one is the idler arm , the drop one is a pitman arm... does that make sense? what the hell could it be that is making it feel so odd..... feels like I have 10000 pounds in the back and all the weight is off the front , you know that weird steering feeling? heeeeelllllpppppp!!!!!
