Stock Mud Flap interchangability?? Runner fit on truck??
Hey all, I have a 95 xtracab 4x4 and need stock mud flaps w/brackets. Are 90-95 4Runner mud flaps interchangable with 90-95 pickups? Seems to be a lot more Runners being parted out than pickups. Thanks.

Only 1989-1995 toyota 4x4 mudflap mounts will fit your truck. Two wheel drive ones are smaller, and 4 runners are completly different. I think i have one spare, not sure what side thou. I was just in your shoes about 3 months ago.

Its the bracket that makes them special. I was going to use brackets i made but they looked funny since the truck is pretty much all stock. So i just used stocks. Hard to find a pair under $50

Back in the day I found an ad for detachable mudflaps. I dont know if anyone makes them for the Yota or not but after this past weekend, I think I need some.
Story. There is a powerline trail on my family property. I cleaned it out and planted a food plot for deer hunting a few years ago. The tree people came out and cleaned back some trees before winter and dropped an ass load of limbs all over my very expensive food plot. Needless to say it pissed me off.
I spent the day cleaning up the junk, throwing it in my truck. I would back my truck down the powerline trail and dump it in a low area a few hundred yards away (an area with no food plot).
As I backed through a ditch, the right rear mudflap got pinched between the ditch and the tire which tried to pull it off. It didnt do much damage but this could be a problem for future wheeling.
Anyone know where I can get detachable mudflaps? I want to keep the factory flaps as I like the way they look.
